Euro Grey Glass (Euro Gray Glass – vidrio gris)
First, the raw materials (included soda ash, silica, lime, dolomite and feldspar) and the colbalt and vanadium elements which bring colors for glass, will be mixed in the batch mixer.
Second, after fully mixed, all the raw materials will be melted in the furnace under the temperature around 1550℃.
Third, the molten raw materials is the liquid glass and been fed onto the molten tin. In this process, the molten glass will be drawn off according the required thickness and flat surface.
Forth, the glass will be lifted onto the conveyor rollers and pass through the controlled cooling tunnel which length is more than 100 meters.At beginning, the temperature can reach 600℃, the glass will exit the annealing lehr at room temperature.
Fifth, the cutter will cut the glass automatically in the lengthwise and crosswise according the input data. And the cut glass sheets will be lift and put on the racks by the vacuum lifter.
Sixth, The automatic inspections and samples will be check in every production step, to ensure the glass with good quality.
