First, the tempered laminated glass should be packed by wooden crates or glass racks. Every glass pieces should be packed by paper or plastic. Between glass and wooden crates, need to fill with the soft materials to avoid the glass scratches or other defects. On every package, should mark with glass thickness, glass grade, fragile, handling with care and side up.

Second, In the transportation, the wooden crates with glass shouldn’t be laid flat or oblique, the length direction should be identical with vehicle transportation direction, and take waterproof measures. In the glass moving, to avoid the crushing with other objects. The tempered laminated glass which won’t use immediately should be stored in the dry and ventilated surroundings.

Third, The tempered laminated glass have inner pressure, couldn’t be cut, drilled, and grinding edges, otherwise it will break. The concentration of stresses is on the glass edges, should be protected well.

Fourth, Before installation, the tempered laminated glass should be guard against blazing sun with high temperature, or rain with high humidity. The storage conditions should be dry with been well ventilated. If there is sudden change of weather, need to check the glass in time, to avoid the soaking in the water and cause problems.

Fifth, if to install the glass under water, need to guarantee the whole system with good waterproof performance. The part to connect with water should be adopt with waterproof materials. For the space between glass and frame, should be sealed well by the sealing materials. The design and installation should meet the standards.
