Short Description:

The french green glass is produced with the transition metal element(such as iron, chromium, copper and colbalt) and colorants, which bring the green color to the glass. It is produced by the same body tinted technology and same production line of other tinted glass. The light green glass is widely used in the windows and doors where need both lighting and heat insulation. Production process

First, the glass raw materials such as soda ash, silica, lime, dolomite and feldspar, will be mixed with transition metal element( iron, chromium, copper and colbalt) and colorants in the batch mixer.

Second, after fully mixed in the batch mixer, the furnace with high temperature with around 1550℃ will melt all the raw materials.

Third, the molten glass will be fed onto the molten tin. And been pulled and pushed to the flat shape with required thickness.

Forth, the glass is lifted onto conveyor rollers, then pass through the controlled cooling tunnel which start temperature is around 600℃, and the tunnel have more than 100 meters length. At last, the glass with temperature which is similar as room temperature will exit the annealing lehr.

Fifth, the jumbo size glass will be cut automatically in lengthwise and crosswise according requirements, then it will be stacked on the glass racks automatically by the vacuum lifter

Sixth, The manual sampling inspection and automatic inspections in the whole production process can ensure the glass with good quality.
